The Wichard folding padeye, part # 66042, is certified EN795:2012 and can therefore be used as a type A anchor point for personal and nominative use. Folding padeyes are recommended for installing lifelines and harness anchor points in accordance with EN 363:2018 standard (as a personal fall protection system) and comply with the requirements of EN 795:2012, except for sports and recreational activities. Anchor devices are designed to be attached to a structure onto which a connecting device or personal protective equipment can be fixed, to facilitate and secure work at height.
