The first Axxon carbon mast to pass through Wichard Groupe North America’s new facility has officially arrived and is ready for dispatch. Soon to be safely in its new home onboard a Pogo 40, the Wichard Groupe North America team is proud to be involved in the final assembly and shipment of this first (of many) Axxon carbon masts to be delivered via Rhode Island.
Based in Romania, Axxon Composites joined Wichard Groupe in November 2023 and helps round out the Groupe’s mast offering, joining Sparcraft and Lorima to create the three arms of the Wichard Groupe mast division. The team at Axxon brings 30 years of experience in carbon mast manufacturing and composites industry, using advanced technologies like pre-preg carbon, autoclave curing, and a female tooling manufacturing process.
