The inventor and manufacturer of the iconic Maillon Rapide® (“Quick Link”) system, Peguet has released three generations of this universal product. Designed in France, it comes in a wide range of shapes and materials, and is adapted for both the industrial and sporting markets. With its trapezoidal shape, the Trapeze Quicklink is designed to connect flat webbings of unequal widths without bunching or twisting. The geometry provides a more suitable seating surface for webbing than a standard quicklink, helping maintain proper orientation within the assembly.
Recommendations
Keep to the working load limit WLL (M.W.L.) engraved in kg.
Visual check of complete nut screwing compulsory; no thread must be showing.
Maillon Rapide quick links are only to be loaded along the major axis.
Maillon Rapide quick links should be carefully checked at regular intervals. If you are in any doubt about the safety of a quick link after checking, replace it with a new one.
When fastened with a wrench up to the proper tightening torque, Maillon Rapide quick links are considered a permanent connector.
Maillon Rapide should always be fitted with parts made of same material.
When connected with chain, Maillon Rapide quick links should be of the same diameter.
Never connnect any Maillon Rapide quick links onto a lifting chain.

Nut: Manufactured from high-safety, lead-free steel. Each nut is systematically inspected after the cold-drawing process using eddy current and ultrasonic testing.
Surface treatment: All components, including the body and the nut, are electro-zinc plated for corrosion protection.
